Here’s what I’ve loved in knitting this week…

Paying homage to our woolly friends, knits for the whole family, color, flare and pom poms, step out in something that’ll turn heads, and…

Celtic cleverness and exploring color at the same time. A simple cable textured design with a glorious outcome to keep the chill out.

Create a sweater kids will love and knits up fast. So cuddly and cute! And one simple and stylish baby blanket that requires only knits and purls.

Ease into brioche knitting and enjoy all the fun of barks and burps!

A gorgeous cabled sweater with a stylish twist and get jazzy with a mosaic knit for nights out on the town.

Express your artistic appreciation and love of nature with a stunning owl colorwork design. Plus, beautiful details inspired by the wonderful world of bees.

Discover the perfect knitting recipe for a folded brim. Be amazed by a traditional sweater that’s knitted by a group at the same time!

These two new tools will add pizzazz to your crafting life and make winding yarn and knitting on the go so much easier!

Get an alternative to a common increase that’s not only easier, but useful in far more contexts! Versatility is key.

Learn a simple alternative to increases that removes the need for lifting a bar between stitches and how to master a tricky purl decrease.

Discover the knitwear where high-fashion meets timeless Mens clothes. Banish the problems that come with weaving in the ends of bulky fibers.

A timepiece that knits by itself, and a very special knitted blanket…

Taking care of your knits has never been so much fun with these delightful knitters! Plus, find out the benefits of being proactive in your knitting to avoid unnecessary unraveling.

And now… onwards to your weekly What To Knit Next issue!

👀 Last week’s top knitting inspiration: the Caladan Sweater.

This week’s knitting ideas you can't miss…

An adorable tribute to our wooly friends.

The Sheepy Hat by Yankee Knitter Designs is a basic beanie with a simple charted graph. It’s knit on circular needles and in worsted weight yarn.

Sizes included are for Baby, Child & Adult. The sheep motif is so adorable and a tribute to our love of fiber! 😊

Where the texture of birch meets knitted design.

This cozy textured cowl by

Louise Tilbrook
uses just one 100g skein of DK weight yarn (on 4.5mm needles) to create a single loop-sized cowl.

It uses the provisional cast on and is worked flat, then stitches are grafted together at the end. The 2 stitch cabling gives it a lovely overall finish!

Ganseys for the whole family.

With a gorgeous combination of cables and textured stitches,

Sandi Rosner
’s ganseys are suitable for the whole family!

Knitted in cotton, (Comfy Fingering or Comfy Worsted), the stitch definition shines through.

For the baby sizes, use size US 2 (2.75mm) circular needles (32" or longer) for the Magic Loop technique. For the child & adult sizes, use US size 7 (4.5mm) circular needles (32" or longer) for the Magic Loop technique.

Celtic inspired colorwork to swoon over.

Two pillow designs by

Janine Bajus
to experiment with two color stranded knitting with a fair isle celtic inspiration.

The colors of Jamieson Spindrift Shetland wool she’s chosen are only a suggestion. You can go wild with what palette you choose.

Use a US 3 (3.25mm) 16” long circular needle.
