Here’s what I’ve loved in knitting this week…
The perfect introduction to Brioche knitting, Dandelion kisses, a lace design with an open texture, a modern feel and balloon sleeves, and…
I adore the Puff Rib Stitch and it’s used to beautiful effect in this cozy scarf, these two little cuties are best friends, a textured stitch called Armor, brioche ribbing, and ornate dip stitches, and a romantic design with its semi-transparent yoke.
A stunning collection of lace socks, a fabulous inclusive instarsia design, and I adore this sweater’s color combination.
Easier increasing for double knitting, we’re all connected, secret knitted messages, a knitted frog goes on an adventure, and the best way to reuse yarn from swatches.
The knitted version of emotional support chickens, how to steam block your knits, under the ocean with the coral, how to cast on a two color 2x2 ribbing, and getting the same design on both sides.
Plus, graft your stitches the elegant way, and have you ever seen this method of picking up stitches?
And now… onwards to your weekly What To Knit Next issue!

This week’s knitting ideas you can't miss…
Pretty little Brioche scarf.
’s brand-new design is the perfect introduction to Brioche knitting. It helps you ease into doing the basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases. The result is a lovely two-tone skinny scarf!
And here’s Kavitha to tell you about why you’d want to knit this.
Wrapped in love.
Featuring stitches of Dandelion kisses and fun pointy hap corners, the blanket is knitted as a mitered square. The edging is worked in basket weave stitch.
Lily used Knit Picks’ CotLin DK which is light and super soft. I just tested this yarn and loved how it looked and felt! It has a lovely sheen and drape.
It also gets softer with each wash.
Corran cardigan.
The lace design with the open texture makes for a stunning cardigan. You can choose a round or v-neck, and it’s knitted from the bottom up.
Rebecca from The Creabea Designs suggests it suits a range of fibers which makes it suitable for different climates.
Hazy skies.
Knitted in pieces and then seamed together, the textured stitches are only using knits and purls. The cropped design by Ahoney Knits gives it a modern feel with the balloon sleeves. It suits beginners and more experienced knitters.
The designer recommends Wool Of The Andes (100% Highland Peruvian Wool.)
